One of the things I love the most about Stardoll is the ability to earn your own income of stardollars and starcoins. If you are wise and creative, you can earn a very decent income and afford your favorite items from the new limited stores. But maybe you are like me and can't seem to get the hang of wig design or fashion design. Below I have listed a few jobs you might not have thought of yet.
Party Planner:
A cool perk of being a Superstar or Royalty is that you get to make parties for free. Being a party planner has many benefits and if you are creative enough you can pull it off. You can do birthday parties, weddings, host meetings, pageants and anything you can think of. Offer a payment plan where once a month you get paid a sum of the full amount through purchase of an stardesign item until it is all paid off.
Personal Stylist:
This is a good service to offer to royalty and the older stardoll members. If you find you have a nack for fashion and putting outfits together offer to once a week (or however often desired) put together a set of outfits from their wardrobe for a reasonable price. Once word gets out about your talents you might receive more request. Get people to visit your Style Studio as another way to show off your talents.
Thrifter:
If Stardesign is just not for you than maybe thrifting is! Thrifting is an old tradition or recycling and reusing old products to help the economy and environment, and believe it or not, this includes Stardoll as well! Visit tons of Bazaar sales and frequently check the Starbazaar for affordable, under priced rares and favorites. Then resell them in your bazaar for a reasonable price. This is one of my favorite things to do. You can display your "for sale" items in your suite by turning one room into a boutique and styling items together on mannequins and hangers.
Interior Designer:
Once upon a time Stardoll only had four or five interior stores with very little in them and even rarer updates and item additions. I am so so so happy to say that Stardoll has come a very long way in the past five years and has an amazing selection of interior items! If you are just as excited about the release of new interior as I am then this could be for you! Offer to help members restyle and decorate their rooms for a fee. It helps to keep your own suite and rooms up to date and decorated. Have the client unload items from their storage into a vacant extra room. Then have them invite you to suite chat. Show the client fresh new ways to use their items and suggest new items for them to purchase. Once done the client can either take your decor into consideration or save their suite right away.
Raffles:
You know those limited items you never use, and let's face it, probably never will? Well here is a fun way to make a good dollar off of them. Create a drawing! List the item(s) up for raffle in your presentation or club. Set a start date and an end date and the announcement date. Create several cheap stardesign items to be purchased in your bazaar as the "raffle tickets" (example: Purchase a red bow tie in bazaar to enter to win."(or you can automatically enter anyone who purchases from your bazaar). If you make the item a reasonable price (6sd bow tie or 5sd Earrings) then you can get more entries. Make sure to list the rules of your raffle clearly in your presentation and it might help to send out a thank you note to each contestant letting them know they are entered.
Subscription Box
You know those really cute subscription boxes you can get each month in the mail like Ipsy or Birchbox? Well they are super popular and people LOVE to be suprised! Create your own subscription box by first setting a monthly price. For example you can do 12sd for one item, 22sd for 2 items, 30sd for three items and so on. Then select the items you want to send that month, they should be stylish, and season trendy. Remember you want to make a small profit while giving the client their money's worth. Make sure the people who enter your raffle add you as a friend so that you can send the items from the starplaza. This one may be a little harder to pull off, but super fun!
